Privacy policy
Plain language. Last updated October 2026. Tymely is a prototype; no real payments are taken.
If you just scan and pay
We store a random ID in a cookie on your device so a refresh or lost signal doesn't lose your session. We record when your session started and stopped, and what you owed and paid. No name, no email, no account.
If you create an account
We also store your email (to sign you in) and link your past sessions to it so you can see your history and earn rewards. If you choose to save a card, Stripe stores the card. We only keep a reference to it so we can charge it when an organizer confirms your stop.
Payments
Card and Apple Pay details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.
Organizers
Organizers see a label like "Guest 4", how long each session ran, and what was paid. They don't see your email or card.
Notifications
If you turn on rate-change alerts, your browser gives us a push address. We use it only to tell you about rate changes at events you're in.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Any future analytics for organizers will be anonymized.
Deleting your data
Email us and we'll delete your account and history. Payment records Stripe must keep for legal reasons stay with Stripe.
